Ten good things about being home.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. My own chair.\u00a0 Having survived hotel rooms with no chairs other than “ergonomically designed” desk chairs, I can tell you that having a real chair to sit in is a blessing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. My own bed.\u00a0 That way, when I open my eyes, I know where the bathroom is.\u00a0 And I can count on the bathroom and bedroom being on the same level.\u00a0 I still have a bruise on my wrist from a hotel in Arizona where that wasn\u2019t the case.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t fall, but only because I was able to catch myself.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. My husband.\u00a0 29.8 years and counting, and I still love him.\u00a0 He\u2019s my pal.\u00a0 He\u2019s my friend.\u00a0 He runs the clicker and has upgraded my computer, iPhone and iPad since I came back home.\u00a0 There are some real advantages to being married to a retired double E.\u00a0 Having to run strange and mostly non-working clickers on my own on the road is not fun.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Coffee whenever I want it.\u00a0 My kind of coffee.\u00a0 Made at my preferred strength.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          1. Puppies.\u00a0 Jojo is currently resting on my shoulders while I type.\u00a0 There is nothing like having an eight pound puppy as a neck warmer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            1. Jammies and Robe at all hours.\u00a0 I remain a staunch and founding member of the Pajamas Media.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                \n
              1. Readjusting to a pace that doesn\u2019t include traveling and one or more speaking events a day.\u00a0 Tours are fun, but they\u2019re also brutal.\u00a0 I\u2019m glad to step off that band wagon until the next time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                1. Getting back to walking.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \n
                  1. Getting back to training.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                      \n
                    1. Getting back to writing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
